Affiliate Disclosure

Plain English, no fine print: how we make money and what it does (and does not) mean for you.

The Charge Curve is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases.

How our links work

When you click a "Check price on Amazon" button or a product link on this site, you are taken to Amazon (through a redirect that adds our affiliate tag). If you then buy something, Amazon pays us a small commission. It costs you nothing extra - the price you pay is the same as it would be without our link. That commission is how this site is funded.

It does not bias our recommendations

No brand pays us for placement, no manufacturer sends us hardware, and commission rates never change a ranking. Because affiliate income only works if you trust our advice, our interest is aligned with yours: recommend the right product once. That is why cheaper products often rank above pricier ones here, and why every product carries an honest "don't buy this if" note. See our editorial policy and methodology for the full rules.

Prices and availability

Prices and availability are pulled live from Amazon and are accurate as of the date shown on each page. They change constantly, and the price you see at checkout on Amazon is the one that counts. Where we do not have a verified live price, we show none rather than a stale number.

Other retailers

Amazon is our default retailer. We may occasionally link to a brand's own store or another retailer for reference; unless a link earns us a commission it is a plain, non-earning link, and we tell you which is which. We only ever build tracked, earning links for programs we have actually joined.
