Privacy Policy

The short version: we run a simple content site, we do not sell your data, and we collect as little as possible.

This policy explains what information The Charge Curve collects and how it is used. It applies to this website only. We are a content publisher - we do not sell products directly, and we do not run user accounts.

What we collect

  • Analytics data. We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used - pages viewed, general location, device type, and how visitors arrive. This is aggregated and not used to identify you personally.
  • Contact-form messages. If you use our contact form, we receive the name, email address, and message you submit, so we can reply. We use that information only to respond to you.
  • Standard server logs. Our hosting provider may log basic technical data (such as IP address and request time) for security and reliability.

We do not knowingly collect information from children, and we do not ask you to create an account or store payment information - purchases happen on Amazon, not here.

Cookies

We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies:

  • Analytics cookies from Google Analytics, to measure site usage.
  • Affiliate cookies. When you click a link to Amazon, Amazon may set a cookie to attribute a resulting purchase to us. This is how the Amazon Associates program works and is described in our affiliate disclosure. Amazon's own privacy policy governs what Amazon does once you are on their site.

You can control or block cookies through your browser settings; doing so does not affect your ability to read the site.

Third parties

Data is processed by the services we rely on: Google Analytics (usage measurement), our email provider (to deliver contact-form messages), Amazon (affiliate links and any resulting purchase), and our hosting provider. We do not sell your personal information to anyone.

Your choices

You can browse without submitting any personal information. If you have contacted us and want the message deleted, or have a question about your data, email info@thechargecurve.com and we will help. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access or delete personal data we hold.
